Privacy and POPIA at Alliance.

Financial distress is sensitive. Alliance collects only the information needed to respond, assess and administer the service you request.

Information collected

This website may collect your contact details, household income and expense figures, debt estimates, preferred contact method, how you found Alliance and the consent you gave. Formal debt review requires additional identity, employment, bank, creditor and legal information.

Why it is used

  • To respond to your enquiry.
  • To prepare an initial or formal affordability assessment.
  • To provide the debt-review service you request.
  • To meet legal, regulatory and record-keeping obligations.
  • To improve the service and understand how people find Alliance, where consent allows.

Who may receive it

Where the service requires it, information may be shared with authorised staff, credit providers, credit bureaus, legal service providers, registered Payment Distribution Agencies, courts, tribunals and regulators. It is not sold as a marketing list.

Your choices

You may ask what information is held, request correction of inaccurate information or withdraw marketing consent. Some records must be retained where the law, an active application or a repayment plan requires it.
